Update

The Department of Education is expected to publish final regulations next week, making key changes to the Department's implementation of Title I. Among other things, the new rules are expected to establish a common graduation rate definition and expand the use of growth models.

New Legislation

Congress is in recess until after the elections. The Senate is scheduled to return for a lame duck session on November 17, and the House is expected to follow a similar schedule.
