Update

Secretary Spellings announced final regulations this week amending current rules under Part A of Title I of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) concerning graduation rates and their use in AYP decisions; other accountability issues; growth models; school choice; supplemental educational services; and school restructuring. The regulations previously were published in proposed form on April 23, 2008. Over 400 comments were submitted responding to the proposed regulations. Click here.
