The U.S. Department of Education today released a Public Notice in the Federal Register outlining a broad framework for the $350 million Race to the Top assessments set-aside program, as well as the schedule for upcoming public hearings about the initiative. Interested parties must submit written comments about the Public Notice on or before December 2.   For more information, click here. http://edocket.access.gpo.gov/2009/pdf/E9-25600.pdf
