Update

The Department of Education will release the remaining 50% of American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funding for Title I ($5 billion), IDEA ($6.1 billion), and Vocational Rehabilitation ($250 million) on or around September 1.

On August 10, the Department will hold a web conference designed to assist ARRA grantees and subgrantees in managing their grants.   For more information please visit: http://www.ed.gov/policy/gen/leg/recovery/web-conferences.html.

The House and Senate are on recess until Tuesday, September 8.
