Updates
The U.S. Department of Labor released application guidelines yesterday for the new $2-billion Community College and Career Training grant program. The initiative will allow institutions of higher education to create, expand, and restructure job-training programs. All outputs from the program must be created as open educational resources. Over the next year, the U.S. Department of Labor, in coordination with the U.S. Education Department, will award about $500-million through the grant program.
