Our team members have considerable experience in policy and advocacy as well as strategic planning to enhance educational systems. Our team includes former policy makers and general counsels for the U.S. Department of Education in civil rights and social policy issues; at the state level as chief operating officers for state education agencies; and as director of education reform initiatives at the state governor's office level.
The team historically has provided a comprehensive array of services to academia. Our clients include:

We currently work on behalf of foundations and nonprofits with a number of states on a variety of education policy reforms, including expanding early learning and preschool systems, improving P-20 coordination and alignment, and developing appropriate interventions and supports for struggling schools. Our team develops accountability and assessment systems, addresses issues such as the use of high-stakes tests, services for students with disabilities and English language learners, and efforts to promote diversity.
